The applicant files the application with the EDC to receive the permit expedite status |

| The EDC reviews the application |

If the application is approved,
the applicant will proceed through the Expedite Permit System |
If the application is not approved,
the applicant will proceed through the normal permit process |

| The EDC notifies the County Commissioners and the Charles County Chief of Permits |

| A pre-application conference must be scheduled (as opposed to have "occurred") before the submittal of the Site Plan and Development Services Permit applications, as appropriate, and within 10 working days after expedite approval. The conference attendees shall be the applicant, EDC and Planning and Growth Management (P&GM)* personnel. |

| The applicant proceeds through P&GM's project permit process. Each stage of the P&GM's review of the project will be expedited. |
